TRAVEL TIPS

• Do not pack your airline tickets or passports in your checked luggage.
• Reconfirm return flights 72 hours prior to return.
• Pack lightly - clothes you can shed.
• Use duffel type suitcase or luggage with wheels.
• Be sure your luggage is clearly marked with name, address and telephone.  Name only showing to public.
• Leave a copy of your passport with a relative or neighbor, or your travel agent.
• Leave a copy of your itinerary with a relative or neighbor, including telephone numbers where you can be reached.
• Check to be sure your health insurance covers you when you’re out of the country.   If not, direct your inquiry to your travel agent for coverage that is available.
• Convert about $100.00 US to the currency of the first country you will be visiting.
• Plan on using your ATM card in Europe for the best exchange rate.
• Check all train and plane schedules for accuracy.
• Do not pack electrical appliances in checked baggage.
• Bring an electric currency converter.
• When using a hair dryer with a currency converter do not use it on high - you will blow the fuse - bring extra fuses.
• Bring an extra pair of glasses or an RX for your glasses.
• Always bring an umbrella.
• Keep reservation numbers handy.
